My life has been enriched through valuable connections across all sectors.
With over 30 years in iconic clothing brands like Line 7, Hard Yakka and Canterbury Clothing (CCC), I've experienced successes and challenges that taught me invaluable lessons.
Launching and managing my businesses gave me insight into startup pressures and financial challenges. Coaching executives, business owners, and leaders fuels my passion for helping others grow their businesses. Giving back motivates me.
IT- Infrastructure:
To fully understand IT real life experience is critical.
I have been managing IT infrastructure for Line7 and CCC for years looking after the complete infrastructure of the businesses for NZ and Australia.
Infrastructure includes hardware, software, facilities, cloud based platforms and services that support business systems and IT processes.
IT technologies have advanced rapidly, making it challenging to keep up with business needs and control costs effectively. I have experience with multiple cloud platforms, managing server centers, reviewing best practices, automation, and implementing SOPs to build robust systems tailored to businesses.
Operations:
I started in production and operations in clothing businesses. When I was at Line 7, I was involved in local manufacturing and offshore manufacturing from multiple countries like India, Fiji, Pakistan, China & Taiwan. From running our own manufacturing plant, planning and IT strategies, I moved back into Operations Management for NZ and Australia Canterbury Clothing (CCC) from (2019- till 2022) as the Managing Director asked if I could assist. This included overseeing the NZ warehouse and 3PL in Australia.
With years of experience and a deep understanding of operations, I'm committed to providing top-notch consulting services tailored to meet your unique needs.
Organisations/Not for Profits
I currently serve on six trusts, including those for churches and soccer leagues. I assist with governance, financial stewardship, structure, legal requirements, systems, and vision. I believe in the importance of contributing to others and our communities, which is a guiding value in my work.
